Chris Bracey pop up shop Gods own junk yard

I was so envious when I found out two of my friend’s got to visit the neon sign graveyard in Las Vegas last month so imagine my delight in coming across Chris Bracey’s pop up store in Soho, Gods Own Junk Yard.

A hoarder of discarded neon signs gets my vote and Chris Bracey is quite a creator and collector. The shop/ gallery space  encompasses iconic key pieces from his three decades of work in art, fashion and cinema.

It’s open until the end of January for browsing and it’s where I’ll be leaving my Christmas wishlist.

When I first moved into the North London Chick Pad, we vowed to get a neon bar sign made but never quite got round to it. The makeshift sign remains and perhaps it’s time we replaced it!

A temporary bar sign whilst we save up for a Chris Bracey

I’ve collected one or two photos of neon signs myself over the last year.
