The Borrower’s Mansion

This week I’ve mainly been doing manual labour. After a very long renovation project, my cousin was finally ready to move into her five bed dream home. Which means five bedrooms of house stuff to be moved and unpacked.

I put my OCD to good use lining up the plates and tins in the new kitchen and then unpacking, folding, hanging clothes in colour shaded order. Seriously, I think I should get a job in the Gap or Benetton. I would go around raising my eyebrows and tutting at the customers, but boy would the place look orderly!

I also got to have a first glimpse at my own new abode too. Not leaping straight into the 5 bed yet (cough). Let’s just start with one! I’m in the process of renaming and rebranding the 50 sqm my friends and I have been calling ‘The Shoebox’ to either ‘Cool Capsule Living’, or ‘The Borrower’s Mansion’! Pinterest boards are already filling up with practical ideas as well as daft ones.  And it’ll be the daft ones you’ll find in the apartment I’m sure!

Ideas always welcome… and do follow me on Pinterest for more daftness.

Well this is only 4 sq m. Imagine what you can do with 50!
