Love. I’ve seen it present itself in many different forms this week.
From remembering a loved one by walking on hot coals, giving a pep talk and mopping the brow of a stressed out groom on his big day, frantic calls of support when a front page scandal broke, on the face of a Gunners supporter visiting the Emirates Stadium for the first time to making scrambled egg on toast for a lost soul and facetiming a friend on the other side of the world for 3 hours.
I’m feeling awfully grateful. I’m surrounded by lots of special humans that will go out of the way to make each other happier, more comfortable no matter what the situation or how busy they are.
Perhaps it’s the final acceptance of losing my Grandma and seeing one of my favourite cousin’s getting married but I’m starting to feel good.
It’s been a week for tying up loose ends, firming old friendships and the spark of new beginnings which is most exciting.
I’m in the mood for writing moreloveletters.com
